My latest corporate consulting project was an assessment of all Lotus Notes applications currently in use at AEP.  I worked with a team called Enterprise Content & Collaboration who support Documentum, Lotus Notes, and SharePoint systems.  Previously I worked in our Corporate Communications department organizing department websites.  I started working at AEP in 1998.

Back in 1986, I started working in the Engineering business unit at Ross Laboratories, a Division of Abbott, first in the drafting area, then in the systems area. I also worked in our Information Center supporting software training, development, and software evaluations. I enjoyed developing HR systems such as merit planning, succession planning, training, goal setting, and donation sites for Operation Feed and United Way.

I studied Computer Engineering and Mathematics at the Ohio State University at main campus Columbus, Ohio from 1981 to 1986.  Go bucks!  I grew up in Westerville, Ohio and graduated from Westerville South High School.

Professional Organizing has been around for years, but most people do not realize that it is a profession that offers the service of helping you organize your stuff.  It can be closet stuff, garage stuff, basement stuff, or even piles of paper in your office.  Any stuff.

The National Association of Professional Organizers, NAPO, is an organization made of professionals that bring order and efficiency to your life.  For individuals, families, and companies, professional organizers help reduce clutter and chaos.

I am currently serving as the local NAPO Ohio Chapter’s Communication & Technology Director.  Our website let’s you find a professional organizer in your part of Ohio. I have enjoyed being a member of NAPO Ohio, the members are a great group of very organized people. We learn about new products and new processes for our clients.

I have been a professional organizer since 2007, when I had my first paying client, but I have been an organizer most of my life.  I enjoy organizing our family — my husband, three children, and two puppy dogs.

I started scrapbooking in 2004.  I have always loved photography and for me, scrapbooking was a way I could organize my photographs.  In 2009 I worked at a local scrapbook store and I enjoyed helping people learn how to scrap their photos.

With my computer background, I quickly found the electronic cutting systems, such as the Cricut by ProvoCraft a handy tool to use for cutting all types of fonts and shapes for my scrapbook pages.

I have enjoyed organizing my own craft room, and I especially love organizing craft rooms for fellow scrappers.  I have designed setups from an efficient table work area to an entire room setup, complete with new furniture from the IKEA store in Cincinnati, Ohio.
